Part l Opening Remarks 开场白

Dialogue Script 1 对话原文 1

Susan: Excuse me, may I see Mr. John Watt, the personnel manager?
Watt: It's me. What can I do for you?
Susan:I have come at your invitation for an interview. Nice to meet you, Mr. Watt.
Watt: Nice to meet you too. Please sit down.
Susan: Thank you.
Watt: May I have your name?
Susan: My name is Susan Li.
Watt: OK, Miss Li, we have received your letter in answer to our advertisement. I would like to talk with you regarding your qualifications for this position.
Susan:I am very happy that I am qualified for interview.

讲解：

1. 对话中Susan来参加面试，人事经理接待了她。人事经理是the personnel manager。Susan开始问道，May I see Mr. John Watt, the personnel manager? 我想见人事经理。May I...? ，是非常客气的问话方式。Susan问的人正是人事经理，It's me. What can I do for you? 我就是，有什么事情吗？

2. Susan回答I have come at your invitation for an interview. 我是应你们的要求来面试的。at one's invitation，在某人的邀请下。例如：He came to my birthday party at my mother's invitation. 我母亲邀请他来参加我的生日舞会。

3. 两个人互相打过了招呼。May I have your name? 直译就是“我可以知道你的名字吗？”是很客气的问法。we have received your letter in answer to our advertisement. 我们已经收到您回复招聘广告的信函了。这里面应该包括了简历。

4. be qualified for something或者是be qualified to do something，有资格做某事。例如：You're not qualified to be a doctor. 你没有做医生的资格。

Watt: May I help you?
Susan: Yes, I'm for an interview as requested.
Watt: You are Miss Li?
Susan: That's right.
Watt: Please take a seat.
Susan: Thank you.
Watt: We have received your letter and resume, and we thought we would like to ask you to come here for an interview.
Susan: It is a great pleasure for me to have this opportunity for interview.

讲解：

1. 这段对话的内容和上段对话是一样的，只是换了一种说法，例如：I'm for an interview as requested. 我是应约来此面试的。就跟上面的I have come at your invitation for an interview.是一个意思。

2. 人事经理说We have received your letter and resume , and we thought we would like to ask you to come here for an interview. 跟上面对话中的说法也大概一致，只不过这种说法更加简单明了。

3. It is a great pleasure for me to have this opportunity for interview.很荣幸能有机会参加面试。

Dialogue Script 3 对话原文 3

Watt: May I help you?
Susan: Yes, I've come to apply for the position as office clerk.
Watt: I'm Edward Watt, the manager of Human resources Department. May I ask your name?
Susan: My name is Susan Li. How do you do, Mr. Watt?
Watt: I'm glad to meet you, Miss Li. Please take a seat.
Susan: Thank you.　

讲解：

1. I've come to apply for the position as office clerk. 我是来参加办公室职员面试的。the manager of Human resources Department跟上面的personnel manager一样，是“人事经理”的意思。

2. May I ask your name? 就是May I have your name? 是一种客气的询问名字的句式。其实大家可以看出来，开始面试的时候，不用说太复杂的话，只把自己的来意表达清楚就可以了。但是态度一定要友好谦逊，给人一个良好的第一印象，才会愉快的进行后面的对话。下面是开场白里经常用到的一些单词和表达方式。 nterviewer n. 主试人
